Defining Moments
Everybody can look back at their life and find events or indeed individual moments that have
shaped who they are now. Your wedding will be one of these events. I have always approached
photographing weddings with the sole aim of creating an artistic story that documents this most important of days in the most natural and beautiful way possible.
Background
I trained in photography and film making and had a career in TV and video production. This background in storytelling has allowed me to develop my own unique style of documentary photography. A style that not only captures the natural and spontaneous events of your day
but also allows for a touch of glamour, with fashion and cinematic influences.

In 2009 I was selected as a prize winner in the prestigious Fresh M.I.L.K Photography competition which drew entries from 112 countries and over 35,000 images were entered. My image was selected as part of the winning 150 to be featured in the book "Friendship, Family, Love & Laughter" to be published in November as well as on other licensed products. The original M.I.L.K competition run a decade ago was considered to be one of the richest in photographic history and one of the most significant. Fresh M.I.L.K celebrates the 10th anniversary of this original landmark competition.
Many of my images and real life weddings have been featured in various National Wedding Magazines. I have contributed regularly to Perfect Wedding Magazine, the UK's number one
monthly for brides and have been written of as "one of the country's top wedding photographers"
by them. Perfect Wedding have also recently relaunched their website and as part of this I have been given an experts blog online to write articles about all the aspects of wedding photography for brides to be for the magazine. I am also an award winning member of The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association which promotes the best in fine art wedding photojournalism internationally.
Ethos
I love weddings. They are one of the happiest occasions in life and full of so many small and momentous events that photographing them is a joy,never the same and always rewarding. I run my business with the help of my wife, also a trained photographer and have photographed weddings throughout the UK and Europe.
